Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn.  Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College.  After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974.  He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA (read more)

Jubilee Year - Hawthorn Parish Pilgrimage

A lovely parish pilgrimage was had on Wednesday visiting Melbourne Immigration Museum to learn all about the amazing building, burning and rebuilding of the Notre Dame in Paris followed by being welcomed to St Patrick's Cathedral for Mass - more photos here

Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, the Chicago-born prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops and a longtime missionary in Peru, emerged onto the central balcony of St Peter’s as Pope Leo XIV, the 267th successor of St Peter.' - read more here

If you have not yet registered and would like a set of envelopes or to contribute by Credit Card or Direct Debit, please contact the Parish Office, 03 8862 4000. If you see your neighbour’s envelope box please drop it off to them. Thank you for all your support.

Mass count during May

Australia’s Catholic parishes and dioceses are being invited to undertake the annual National Count of Attendance this month. Mass counters will be recording attendance at all of our Masses during May.
