Fr Des Dwyer SJ
Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn. Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College. After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974. He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA (read more)

Lenten prayer service with Taize
In concert with the Lenten prayer group, a special Taizé Prayer will be held in the Immaculate Conception church on Monday 2 March at 7.30pm. This contemplative form of musical prayer is loved all over the world and comes from the ecumenical Christian community in Taizé in France. Entry is free.
Community Film Fundraiser
There is an upcoming Ukrainian film screening available for the community. It is a special one-night event on Tuesday 9 March 6:30pm, at the Lido Cinema Hawthorn, and all profits will be donated to purchase medical evacuation equipment for Ukraine.
