Fr Des Dwyer SJ
Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn. Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College. After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974. He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA (read more)

Doris Day - Parish Bus Trip - bookings closing soon

Sweetheart of the silver screen, Doris Day captured the hearts and imagination of audiences around the world. Join us for a performance by Jazz vocalist Tamara Kuldin as she takes us on a sentimental journey through Doris’ most treasured songs.
Traveling to the new performance venue ‘The Round’ in Nunawading and stopping for lunch on the way home at the Blackburn Hotel (lunch, travel and show cost is included in the price). Leaving the Parish centre on Wednesday 23 October 2024 at 9.30am returning at 4pm. Tickets $57. If cost is a barrier please let us know.

Long Table Dinner

Parish Pastoral Council
We would like to thank Nick Dunstan for his generous service in chairing our Parish Pastoral Council for the past few years.
The new chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council is William Fleming. Will is an active and involved member of our Parish Community, and we're sure you will remember his stunning art display of the crucified Christ and Mary during Lent.
Preserved Olives for East Timor
Andrew Defendini still keeps busy in his 90s, He has prepared several jars of brine cured Kalamata olives, infused with garlic, basil, lemon and lime.
$6 per jar. All proceed towards scholarships for needy students at Railaco, Timor Leste. Please contact Kevin Slattery
