Fr Des Dwyer SJ
Des Dwyer is Parish Priest at Immaculate Conception Hawthorn. Born in Warrnambool he was educated at Xavier College. After leaving school he joined the Jesuits and was ordained in 1974. He did post graduate studies in Spirituality at St Louis University USA (read more)

Jubilee Mass - An Evening of Hope
Our Parish Jubilee Mass will be held on Saturday 13 September. There will be Reconciliation available as usual at 5pm, followed by a musical interlude at 5:30pm, with the Jubilee Mass at 6pm.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Preparation classes for the Sacrament of Reconciliation for students Year 3 or above, not attending St Joseph’s Primary School, commence in October. See here for more information or to register.
Long Table Dinner
On Saturday 11 October, after 6pm Mass, come along to a Long Table Dinner in the Parish Centre. Tickets are $5. BYO drinking glasses. Please contact Anne Schiller via Parish Office to book or for more information.
Safeguarding Sunday - 14 September
‘Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action’
This year’s theme highlights that while open discussions are crucial, words alone are not enough: we must turn dialogue into meaningful action. This year, NAPCAN are focusing on moving beyond conversations to concrete actions that prevent harm and instead, focussing on strengthening support systems, and empowering communities to actively protect children.
